How do I join as a contractor on Hirescapes?

I'm an independent contractor. Can I join Hirescapes?

Yes, Hirescapes was built to help hardscapers of all sizes. Whether your an independent contractor, a small business or have been in the industry for 30 years. We are here to help, click here to join Hirescapes.

What’s the benefit of joining Hirescapes?

We are the only platform to deliver actual projects to bid on (not just leads!) so you can run your business efficiently, saving time and money. How do my projects get featured on the inspiration board?

The inspiration board is based on projects in that customer’s geographic area. As you complete projects, take photos of your completed hardscape projects and upload them to your profile. You can connect to your Facebook or Instagram accounts, or upload directly from your computer. Hirescapes will select photos based on project scope, materials used, and quality.

I have questions about a particular project. Who do I contact?

What is the payment structure like?

When each milestone is completed, you will receive payment from the customer within 2 - 7 business days. You can choose a payment option that works for you. We offer direct deposit, wire transfers and more.

How much does it cost to join Hirescapes?

Contractors only pay a $99 per month membership fee that allows them access to bid on projects, digital marketing services and unlimited use of Hirescapes software and platform.

My customer is not approving payment for work completed. What should I do?

Please contact customer service via live chat or Hello@Hirescapes.com and we will help walk you through the next steps.

My customer left me a poor review. What can I do?

Reviews are currently for internal purposes. Hirescapes will do an audit of any negative reviews and reach out to you for your side of the story then determine a course of action.

I need to change a site visit. What do I do?

Reach out and send your customer a message as soon as possible to change the date and time. Hirescapes recommends giving a minimum of a 24-hour notice to customers about a date or time changes.

What happens if I don't follow the platform rules?

We encourage contractors to review the terms and conditions of using Hirescapes. Additionally, contractors who receive poor performance reviews, don’t show up for site visits or try to take advantage of customers will be removed from the platform and could face additional disciplinary action.

What If I'm not interested in a project that has been submitted to me?

You can decline projects if they don’t interest you or fit your schedule. Contractors are encouraged to either decline or provide an estimate within 48 hours of receiving the alert. There are no repercussions to declining a project.

How do I receive more projects to estimate?

Hirescapes uses algorithms to match contractors to the most ideal projects for them. Make sure your account settings are up to date and upload additional project photos to your profile. Additionally, every time you complete a project on Hirescapes and you receive a positive review Hirescapes will rank your company higher increasing the chances of you receiving a request for an estimate in the future.

How do I increase my chances of being recommended to a project?

When a customer likes one of your photos on our Inspiration board and their project is submitted to Hirescapes, you will show up as a recommended contractor if you choose to submit an estimate. To learn more, read How to get recommended to more projects from your past photos.

If a customer pays me though Hirescapes is there a fee?

If a customer chooses to pay you through Hirescapes, we charge a 3.95% credit card processing fee.
